KG-SHSB Chapter 26 and announcement

Hi readers! Here it is, another bi-weekly chapter of Kanna. I also have a sad announcement to make. After long consideration, I have decided to drop Kanna. It’s mostly due to time constraints, what with me spending a little too much of my free time in novel translations (especially this one) and my interest in the novel has always been a bit so-so compared to my other project. The fact that this novel is both twice as long and counting and its grammar etc is harder to get also doesn’t help. I’ve also decided to keep the other novel project because the pace allows me to finish it in a reasonable period of time(a little less than 1.5 years, or earlier if I translate faster).

I did learn a lot of things while translating this novel so I’m glad I’ve picked this up despite the slow pace and short time.

So with this, I hereby allow anyone to start translating this. If free time allows me, I may sporadically translate a chapter if nobody has decided to pick it up, but don’t count on it too much. At least not until I finish my other project.

Thank you all for reading my translations up until now and hopefully I’ll be seeing you around, either on my other project or a future project when I’m about to be done with the current one. (or when I manage to get enough money to quit my job and focus on translation instead).

KG-SHSB Chapter 23

Hello my dear readers! Here’s Chapter 23 of your bi-weekly Kanna. Sorry for a day late, the chapter was unexpectedly long so I underestimated the time I needed to finish translating it. The slangs he used and typos(in japanese) he made didn’t help much either. I may have made some errors in the meaning of the sentence, so be on the lookout for me and report them if you see anything that sounds wrong or incorrect.

KG-SHSB Chapter 22

Hello fellow readers! Here’s Chapter 22 of your bi-weekly Kanna. I noticed a review on NU about the novel said the releases are slow. I can’t help it, really. I don’t have that much time I want to give up on translating since I also work. Or I’m going to have to give up on gaming and other things I’m doing, which I’ll never give up. So there, bi-weekly it is. I may want to do an extra chapter inbetween it once every so often, but that’s when I feel like it. Also, what do people think about adding author notes?

 

Also, I just realized chapter 21 is the first chapter of the third arc already. Just so you know. The title of the arc is “The one who disturbs harmony”

Hi everyone! Here it is, a chapter of Kanna that’s finally on time! I can do it if I put my mind on it. And time, too. Time I want more of. Lots more.

Either way, here’s the chapter for you to enjoy.

 

P.S. The title(なんだかんだ先生) is apparently a joke and reference to a game according to the author. Can anyone figure it out? Not sure how it’s translated to english though. If you do know, let me know so I can change. That is, if you can find out the game in the first place…Hint: It’s a fighting game. I found it, but can’t be bothered to go through google to find it nor buy all those games to find it.
