Hello everyone!

Welcome to a new release of Kanna the godless! I know, I know. It’s almost three weeks ago since I released a chapter, almost a week too late. But nevertheless, I finished it to you readers’s pleasure. You know there are games that are fun and interesting and there are games that you just can’t let go without even thinking about it every minute? Usually I think about translating, but the game got me into it a bit too much, even though it’s not that interesting. Either way, the hook is starting to get looser and looser now and I should be able release chapters in a timely fashion again.

Also, I’ve decided to rename Spirit magic to Spirit art. A little change, but it gives a bigger distinction between two different magic systems we’ve come across until now.

KG-SHSB Chapter 15

Hello everyone! Here’s another chapter of Kanna the Godless. I’ve been struggling in deciding whether or not I should change some terms in this novel to make the differences more clear. I’ve been using several terms that the previous translator used like spirit magic, but now there’s spirit magic and magic, which are two entirely different magic systems from what I read. Strictly speaking, the spirit magic here is literally translated as spirit art/spirit technique(精霊術) and magic is literally translated as magic art/magic technique(魔術), though it’s mostly translated as just magic, but also sorcery. Shall I just change spirit magic to spirit art to make a bigger distinction between the two magic systems? Then again, I also use sorcerer to describe someone who use magic to fight. Please voice your thoughts in the comment section and enjoy the read.

New novel translation, coming up: Kanna the Godless; The Summoned Heretic is a Scenario Breaker

Hi readers, this is editor(/translator) Jun here. I’m happy to announce we will be releasing translations of a new novel I will be translating from now on. As already mentioned in the title, the novel is called “Kanna The Godless; The Summoned Heretic Is A Scenario Breaker” (Kanna no Kanna Itanshoukansha wa Scenario Breaker). Index page can be found here.

For the time being I will be picking up where the previous translator left off, which is chapter 12, and I will be releasing a chapter every other week.

We’re currently looking for new editors, TLCs etc for this novel so if you like this novel and you would like to try it out, please leave a comment.
